I have been a mental health therapist for the past nine years in my home country of Colombia. I recently moved to Denver, Colorado and am excited to grow my community here. My foundation in clinical psychology, earned through a Master’s degree, has given me a solid understanding of emotional disorders and various therapeutic approaches to addressing them. I got the opportunity to work around my country with different groups such as individuals with emotional disorders and chronic diseases, family units in difficult socio-economic situations and pregnant women and new moms.

Through my own personal and professional experience I have grown to appreciate the utmost importance of having a sense of belonging and community. A strong sense of belonging is a powerful force that can foster confidence and connection.

Growing up in a country as culturally diverse as Colombia, I had to learn to connect with others by listening without judgment—truly hearing what they had to say rather than imposing my own beliefs or assumptions. This mindset is key to how I approach therapy. For me, it’s about offering a space where clients feel seen, heard, and understood, especially in moments of vulnerability when they come to therapy seeking relief from pain, confusion, or fear.

Approach
My approach to therapy is collaborative, empathetic, and non-judgmental. I work with each client to develop a customized treatment plan that aligns with their unique needs and goals.
Accreditations
I hold a Masters degree Clinical Psychology from Fundacion Universitaria Konrad Lorenz in Colombia, and I am a licensed psychotherapist in the state of Colorado.
